An open kitchen, a large dining room and a dedicated collection counter shape L’Osteria at Albert-Schenavsky-Straße 2. It opened on 1 July 2021 as the brand’s second Augsburg restaurant, with Katharina Silz running the new franchise. Construction had begun in September 2020.
A separate space for collecting orders
A dedicated takeaway station beside the open kitchen was included in the original design. A glass partition separates the collection area from the restaurant. It had around 200 indoor seats at opening.
The terrace runs along a tall glass façade. Lemon trees in large pots stand between groups of tables, with red parasols providing shade for the outdoor seating.
Pizza in a lofty dining room
Pizzas measure 45 centimetres across. Inside, a long, curved bar with stools and tall bottle shelving provides a focal point. Red upholstered benches divide the seating areas, with more tables beside the windows.
The restaurant stands beside the Meran Arkaden shopping area in Lechhausen. Its terrace was planned on a generous scale from the outset, with around 160 outdoor seats announced at opening. The freestanding building was designed specifically as a restaurant.
Open from lunchtime
L’Osteria opens at 11:30am from Monday to Saturday and at noon on Sundays, closing at 11pm every day. Tables can be reserved online. The restaurant also offers delivery and collection for meals at home.
