LA PIZZERIA Augsburg
L’Osteria Augsburg Pfersee
Pizzeria in Augsburg
L’Osteria in Pfersee marks a milestone in the chain’s history: the restaurant opened in 2009 as its first freestanding building. At Pearl-S.-Buck-Straße 12, parallel to Bürgermeister-Ackermann-Straße, it has its own free car park for guests.
Tall windows opening onto the terrace
Red brick pillars and tall windows define the dining room. Small round tables line the windows, with rectangular wooden tables further inside. Several glass doors connect the room to the terrace, where awnings, parasols and plants frame the seating areas.
Indoors and outdoors
The 45-centimetre pizzas can have two differently topped halves. For eating together, there is also a long communal table indoors with woven chairs.
Outside, the tables stand on a paved terrace beside the restaurant, bordering a lawn with a gnarled tree. The outdoor seating extends from the taller brick structure to the low, pale section of the building, with large planters between groups of tables.
Smaller portions and a drawing table
Children can order smaller portions of the pasta dishes. Highchairs and baby-changing facilities are provided, along with a drawing table that also offers space for reading and playing. All dishes are available to take away.
For lunch, L’Osteria opens at 11am from Monday to Saturday, staying open until midnight on those days. Sunday hours are noon to 11pm. Tables can be reserved online.
