A purpose-built restaurant, a large terrace and the nearby Veltins-Arena define this L’Osteria in Gelsenkirchen’s ARENA PARK. The Willy-Brandt-Allee location serves pizza and pasta, with parking spaces directly beside the building. The Sport-Paradies leisure complex is also in the surrounding area.
Sunday brunch
Italian brunch runs here on Sundays from 9 am to 1 pm and includes filter coffee. Children aged six and under eat free, while seven- to fourteen-year-olds pay half price. You can select the brunch offer on the restaurant’s local reservation page.
Lunch and meals to share
The weekday lunch offer runs until 3 pm, with selected salads or pasta dishes. The pizza option includes a 0.3-litre soft drink; this offer cannot be combined with other discounts. For a group order, the local takeaway menu lists Amici Speziale with four pizza or pasta main courses, and Amore Speziale with two mains plus two starters or desserts.
Part of ARENA PARK since 2015
The restaurant opened in November 2015. Around 300 invited guests attended its opening celebration on 5 November. Instead of gifts, the event collected donations for Förderkorb, a Gelsenkirchen organisation that supports young people as they move from school towards working life.
Taking dinner home
Every dish is available to take away, and Italian tiramisù features among the desserts. Dogs have a water station. The restaurant stays open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, and until 11 pm on the other days of the week.
