L’Osteria at Klenzestraße 71 sits in the Glockenbachviertel, between Gärtnerplatz and the Isar. Pizza is central to this branch, which advertises a 45-centimetre diameter and serves food both at the restaurant and to take away. L’Osteria opened on 10 July 2025 after converting the former Sushi + Soul, which had served Japanese food in this corner restaurant for 26 years.

At its opening, the restaurant had provision for 140 seats indoors and around 90 on the terrace. An open kitchen is part of this branch’s layout, and it serves pasta as well as pizza.
Dippold Innenarchitektur designed the interior, while joinery firm Weichenberger carried out the fit-out. Bespoke wooden furniture forms part of the scheme created for this Klenzestraße restaurant, completed in 2025.
A meal in the neighbourhood before an Isar walk
A visit to Klenzestraße can be combined with a walk through the Glockenbachviertel. Reichenbachbrücke links the Glockenbachviertel with the Au district. From the bridge, you can follow the riverside paths or head towards Gärtnerplatz. There are also playgrounds on the right bank of the Isar.
The branch page provides its own table-booking link. The restaurant opens at 11:30am from Monday to Saturday and at noon on Sundays, allowing for lunch before continuing through the neighbourhood. A separate ordering link is provided for guests who want to collect their food.
