L’Osteria stands at Pasinger Marienplatz 1, in Pasing's historic centre. The restaurant serves pizza, pasta and antipasti from lunchtime into the evening. This is the square with Pasing's Mariensäule: include Pasing when arranging to meet, since Munich's city centre also has a Marienplatz.
A meal on Pasing's central square
The square became largely pedestrianised in 2015 and was connected to the neighbouring streets with restricted traffic. Light and dark stone rings circle the Mariensäule in the paving. A meal here can accompany a walk around central Pasing.
L’Osteria occupies the new building that replaced the two-storey “Pappschachtel”, built in 1920/21 and demolished in 2017. The restaurant extends across the ground and first floors, linked by an internal staircase and an open space between the levels. Outdoor tables face Pasinger Marienplatz.
Two floors in a new building
Designed by Auer Weber, the building is recognisable by its pale brick façade. It brings restaurants, shops and Hotel Miano under one roof. The historic Confetti-Haus stands next door: that houses Cotidiano, while L’Osteria occupies the modern building.
The restaurant opens at 11:30am from Monday to Saturday and at noon on Sundays. Friday and Saturday service continues until midnight. The Pasing location page offers table reservations and a separate ordering link for delivery or collection from this branch.
