Pizza Fresh at An der Schanze 45 serves Kiel’s Pries-Friedrichsort area with a menu full of northern place names. Its pizzas come in 26- and 36-centimetre sizes, while the Kopenhagen borrows hot-dog flavours: sausage, pickles, Danish remoulade, ketchup, fried onions and cheese.
Vegetables and curry
The vegetarian Eutin combines broccoli, mushrooms, sweetcorn, peppers, leek, cherry tomatoes and mixed grains with tomato sauce and cheese. Schleswig takes a different direction, bringing tandoori chicken, peppers, leek, mushrooms, red onions, curry sauce, an Asian-style sauce and cheese together.
Pasta Vegetaria includes mushrooms, spinach, broccoli, leek, cherry tomatoes and carrots in tomato sauce. Pasta Atlantico pairs chicken breast with mushrooms, cherry tomatoes and carrots in a creamy pesto sauce. You can choose the pasta shape for either dish.
Dough parcels and sharing
The multigrain Franko parcel is filled with Serrano ham, rocket, pesto, cherry tomatoes and freshly grated Grana Padano. For sharing, there is a 60-by-40-centimetre party pizza with tomato sauce and cheese. Cheese-filled pizza rolls come in portions of eight, with a multigrain version also available.
