Beside Warnemünde’s lighthouse, Sole Mio serves Italian food with a sea view from its terrace. Owner Lucio comes from Puglia and makes that southern Italian background part of the restaurant’s identity. At Am Leuchtturm 16, the pizza and pasta selection is accompanied by a children’s menu and a separate ice cream menu.
Burrata and seafood
Pizza Burrata Royal combines Italian burrata, rocket, lightly spicy dressed fresh tomatoes and balsamic vinegar. Its base also differs from the other pizzas: the September 2026 menu specifically excludes it from the usual tomato sauce and mozzarella combination.
Spaghetti Frutti di mare Royal brings together green-lipped mussels, clams, octopus and one king prawn. For a creamy pasta dish, Pappardelle Zafferano pairs strips of pork fillet with saffron and Parmesan cream. The broad ribbon pasta also comes with smoked salmon in a cream sauce.
Children’s meals and ice cream
The children’s dishes are exclusively for children aged twelve and under. Pizza Dagobert has tomato sauce, mozzarella and salami. Other choices include Spaghetti Bolognese and fish fingers with fries. Potato pancakes with apple sauce are labelled vegan; rice pudding with cinnamon sugar or apple sauce is labelled vegetarian.
On the children’s ice cream menu, Micky Maus combines vanilla ice cream, Smarties, whipped cream and strawberry sauce. Biene Maja contains chocolate and vanilla ice cream with whipped cream, vanilla sauce and Smarties. Kinder Spaghetti Eis is vanilla ice cream with whipped cream, strawberry sauce and white chocolate shavings.
