Tall windows, a high dining room and a long bar define L’Osteria at Gut-Dämme-Straße 1 in north-eastern Aachen. You can eat pizza at a table or on a bar stool in this restaurant, which occupies a detached, purpose-built building.
A restaurant beside a piazza
The site opened in November 2018 alongside The ASH opposite, creating a dining complex with a piazza, fountain and parking. The open kitchen is behind the bar. Two serving hatches give diners a partial view of the working area. There is also a side room with 25 seats.
The pizzas measure 45 centimetres across. The kitchen also offers pasta, salads, antipasti and desserts. A terrace provides another place to eat in summer, and all dishes are available to take away.
Visiting with children and pushchairs
The restaurant has an indoor children’s play area and baby-changing facilities, and accommodates pushchairs. There are parking spaces for both bicycles and cars. Dogs are welcome, and the pizzeria provides them with a bowl at its own water station.
Lunch and later weekend evenings
