L’Osteria has been part of Bochum’s Husemann Karree since April 2024. The restaurant on Viktoriastraße began serving guests on 18 April, with its opening party following on 2 May. Bochum’s main railway station is about a ten-minute walk away.
Pizza and shared tables
The pizzas measure roughly 45 centimetres and can have different toppings on each half. Larger groups can sit at a long high table, with smaller tables beside the windows.
In the new city quarter
The restaurant occupies building C of Husemann Karree on Husemannplatz. The quarter was built on the former site of the Land- und Amtsgericht after the courts moved to the Justizzentrum. Beneath the complex, a two-level underground car park provides 510 spaces and connects to the existing network of underground garages.
The car park entrance is at Viktoriastraße 23, and all three exits have lifts. Payment is cashless: enter your car’s registration number at the payment machine to pay for your stay.
An open kitchen and a large terrace
You can watch the kitchen at work from the dining room, where wood, natural stone and warm colours shape the interior. At the opening, the restaurant had around 188 indoor seats and 200 terrace seats.
Lunch and late dinners
Opening hours are 11.30 am to 11 pm Monday to Thursday, extending to midnight on Friday and Saturday. Sunday service starts at noon and finishes at 11 pm. You can book a table online or order food to collect from the restaurant.
