At Friedensplatz 8, L’Osteria serves pizzas measuring 45 centimetres across, with different toppings available on the two halves. The restaurant has a terrace, and every dish is also available to take away. Pasta, antipasti and salads are available alongside the pizzas.
Smaller portions and a drawing corner
Children have smaller pasta portions, high chairs and baby-changing facilities. The drawing corner also provides space for playing and reading. Dogs are welcome, with a water station provided for them.
Reaching Friedensplatz by light rail
From the main railway station, take the U41 towards Hörde, U45 towards Westfalenhallen, U47 towards Aplerbeck or U49 towards Hacheney to Stadtgarten. Kampstraße is the only intervening stop. From the station, continue on foot to Friedensplatz. If you are already at Alter Markt, Betenstraße leads to the square.
Parking on Südwall
The Am Friedensplatz car park is on Südwall. Its lower levels have a vehicle clearance of 2.05 metres; the upper deck allows 3.30 metres. The facility has two lifts. Payment machines accept cash as well as debit and credit cards.
For a late Sunday dinner, the car park’s closing time matters: in September 2026 it closes at 10pm, while the restaurant stays open until 11pm. The car park is closed on public holidays. On Fridays and Saturdays, the restaurant closes at midnight and the car park an hour later.
