L’Osteria serves pizza inside Erfurt’s former main post office at Anger 66–73, behind a listed façade dating from the nineteenth century. Opened in 2024, this branch is easy to reach during a day in the city centre: several tram routes stop directly outside the building.
Open kitchen
There are around 195 seats indoors and another 120 on the terrace. Pink and yellow tones, dark accents, upholstery and natural stone give the dining room its character. The open kitchen lets you watch the pizza makers shape the dough by hand.
Two toppings, one pizza
The pizzas extend beyond the edge of the plate and can be ordered with different toppings on each half. Pasta from the company's own production facility and seasonal dishes on the Menu della Casa complete the meal choices. Espresso and cappuccino use coffee from its Bar Italiana roastery.
Trams, trains and family facilities
The former post office underwent extensive modernisation in 2007. Erfurt Hauptbahnhof is a few minutes’ walk away if you are continuing your journey after eating. The restaurant has an accessible toilet and baby changing facilities.
