L’Osteria Thon occupies the ground floor of The One office tower at Forchheimerstraße 1. Rising roughly 40 metres beside Erlanger Straße, the building forms part of Neue Mitte Thon. In May 2025, the developer reported that the restaurant had opened as the new tower’s first tenant.
Beneath The One
Tram and bus connections serve the location. Thon tram stop is beside the building, with lines 4 and 10 providing direct connections to Friedrich-Ebert-Platz and Plärrer. The restaurant is open to the public and explicitly welcomes people from the surrounding neighbourhood as well as those working upstairs. The branch also has a terrace.
Service starts at 11:30am from Monday to Saturday and at noon on Sundays. On Friday and Saturday, the restaurant stays open until midnight. Its website provides table booking, collection and delivery options; delivery hours may differ from those of the dining room.
Two dining floors and a terrace
The pizza measures approximately 45 centimetres across. At the opening in spring 2025, the restaurant had 180 indoor seats across two floors. Its open kitchen gave diners a view of their food being prepared.
The terrace had space for 140 guests. Olive trees and oleander framed views towards the park taking shape in Neue Mitte Thon at the time. From Sunday to Thursday, the restaurant closes at 11pm.
