LA PIZZERIA Nürnberg
L’Osteria Nürnberg Tullnaupark
Pizzeria in Nürnberg
A former power station provides an unusual setting for L’Osteria Tullnaupark. The listed industrial building once supplied Nuremberg’s Milchhof dairy complex and stands near Wöhrder See. The restaurant opened here in August 2015; its current address is Am Tullnaupark 9.
Inside the former power station
Reporting on the opening, local magazine curt described a room more than 13 metres high, full-height windows and exposed brickwork. A terrace provides space for eating outside.
Children can have smaller pasta and salad portions, and there is a drawing table. Dogs are welcome too, with a drinking station available. All dishes can be ordered to take away; you can reserve a table online. On Fridays and Saturdays, the restaurant stays open until midnight; on the other days it closes at 11pm.
Two toppings on one large pizza
Pizzas measure around 45 centimetres across and can be ordered with different toppings on each half. At its opening in 2015, the former power station seated around 190 people indoors and almost as many on its terrace.
Children can join a two-hour pizza-making session here, preparing their own pizzas with guidance before eating together. Sessions are arranged directly with the restaurant.
Arriving by tram
From Hauptbahnhof, take tram 5 or 11 towards Tiergarten and get off at Tullnaupark for the restaurant. The route passes through Marientunnel and Dürrenhof, with no change of tram needed.
