LA PIZZERIA Rostock
Pizzeria Romana
Pizzeria in Rostock
An open kitchen, Italian music and conversations at the counter are part of Pizzeria Romana at Fritz-Reuter-Straße 52. Emanuela Lazzari and Matteo Giacomazzo created this personal pizza venture in Rostock’s Kröpeliner-Tor-Vorstadt, featured by the Ostsee-Zeitung in June 2026.
A shared idea from Italy
The two met in Italy. Giacomazzo brought hospitality experience from Warnemünde, while Lazzari had studied literature. At Romana, their own vision of a pizzeria became a joint project: traditional Italian pizza and direct contact with the people coming into the restaurant are central to their approach.
Salsiccia and Scamorza
The pizzas on the ordering menu measure around 30 centimetres. Salsiccia combines tomato sauce and fior di latte mozzarella with house-made Italian sausage. Diavola uses spicy Ventricina salami. Giulia adds rocket, cherry tomatoes and garlic oil to its tomato and fior di latte base.
The white 4 Formaggi combines fior di latte with smoked Scamorza, Parmesan and Gorgonzola. Margherita Vegan has tomato sauce, vegan cheese and basil. Focaccia Rosmarino, listed as a starter, is pizza bread with rosemary and garlic oil.
Evenings on Fritz-Reuter-Straße
Delivery focuses on the evening: the current ordering website lists Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, 5 to 9 pm, with no delivery service listed for Monday, Tuesday or Friday. In September 2026, Margherita costs €14; Bufalina, with buffalo mozzarella, tomato sauce and basil, costs €17.
