Approaching from the motorway
For the Altmarkt area, leave the A7 at Kassel-Mitte when arriving from the south. From the north, use Kassel-Nord, following signs for Stadtmitte. From the A44, take the A49 at Westkreuz towards Kassel-Stadtmitte or Hannover, then leave at Kassel-Auestadion for the city centre.
