Welcome to Napoli serves stone-oven pizza at Krahnstraße 3, taking over the former Moment’s premises in Osnabrück’s old town. The restaurant is run by Carmelo Italiano, who previously operated Ristorante Italiano at Domhof. Its current menu combines pizza with antipasti and a substantial selection of pasta dishes.
Tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella and seafood
Margherita starts with DOP San Marzano tomatoes, Fior di Latte and basil. Bufalina uses buffalo mozzarella from Campania. Gamberoni brings together Argentinian king prawns, cherry tomatoes and garlic.
Saffron features in dishes with both filled and unfilled pasta. Spinach-filled ravioli are served with salmon, cherry tomatoes and onions in a saffron cream sauce. Orecchiette allo Zafferano also features saffron, with courgette, deep-fried rocket and prawns.
An evening on Krahnstraße
The antipasto platter listed for two combines grilled vegetables with Italian cured meats, burrata and bruschetta, making it a shared first course. Homemade tiramisu and panna cotta appear among the desserts. The restaurant website offers table reservations and access to delivery ordering.
Opening starts in the late afternoon from Tuesday to Friday, while Saturday service begins at noon. Sunday opening is in the afternoon, and the restaurant closes on Mondays. For a later meal, the kitchen’s closing time matters: hot food is served until half an hour before the restaurant shuts.
