Describe the event and portions

Provide the date, venue, approximate guest count and desired serving window. Explain whether pizza is the main meal or part of a larger buffet. Include children, vegetarian requests and known allergies.

Ask how the service is priced: per person, per pizza, as a package or with a minimum spend. Quotes become comparable only when travel, staffing, tableware and service duration are clear.

Prepare the location

A food truck needs access and enough space. A mobile oven needs a suitable surface and safe clearances. Check which electrical or water connections the particular provider requires.

Mention steps, narrow access and venue restrictions. For public spaces or hired venues, establish who will obtain any permissions and coordinate with the venue operator.

Plan service and wet weather

Ask how many guests can be served within your time window. Pizza cooked continuously on site needs a different schedule from a buffet that must be fully ready at a fixed time.

Include setup, pack-down, waste, rain arrangements and cancellation terms in the offer. Discuss allergens and separate preparation directly with the caterer. Our catering directory links to provider websites and their contact options.
