A former bakery at Wagenburgstraße 93 is now home to Die Pizzeria. The Stuttgart restaurant bakes its pizzas in a stone oven and also serves Italian starters and pasta. Ekrem Korkutata manages the restaurant, while the operating company is Bigas GmbH, whose managing director is Asmir Demiri.
A seat beneath the pizza picture
A continuous blue upholstered bench runs along the wall beneath a large picture of a woman topping a pizza. Black pendant lights hang above the tables. Pale walls and dark tabletops frame this seating area, with the picture providing a colourful focal point.
Beef salami, honey and chilli
Sweet Devil pairs San Marzano tomatoes and fior di latte with spicy beef salami, honey, chilli oil and rocket. All meat products are listed as halal-certified; pork is excluded. The meat-free La Perla has cream sauce, fior di latte, mushrooms, burrata, truffle oil and rocket.
Avocado Tatar is a starter with tomatoes, onions, goat’s cheese and truffle honey. Carbonara uses spaghetti, beef bacon, eggs, Parmesan and Pecorino. Cacio D’Amore consists of linguine tossed in a Parmesan wheel. The tiramisu is alcohol-free.
Lunch to go and evenings at the table
From Monday to Friday, you can pre-order food for collection or delivery between 11:30am and 2pm. The restaurant itself opens daily from 4pm to 10:30pm. Table reservations can be made through the website or by calling 0711 96898304.
