Dolce Vita has been part of Leipzig’s city-centre restaurant scene since 1998. The trattoria and pizzeria is at Barfußgäßchen 8, a few minutes’ walk from Markt. It opens daily at noon, with the kitchen closing at around 11pm. A separate lunch menu accompanies the regular selection.
Salmon pizza and pancetta pasta
Pizza Dolce Vita is topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella, salmon, spinach and garlic. Colosseo combines tomato sauce and mozzarella with Gorgonzola, mushrooms and Parma ham. Spaghetti Carbonara is made with pancetta, egg and Parmesan. Tagliatelle Punta di Filetto combines beef strips, fresh tomatoes, onions, rosemary and rocket.
Burrata on the 2026 special
The 2026 pizza of the year brings together tomato sauce, mozzarella, rocket, Parma ham, burrata and Parmesan. Starters include Vitello Tonnato: thinly sliced veal with tuna sauce and capers. Fresh bread is served with the antipasti.
Weekday lunch, excluding public holidays
The lunch offer runs Monday to Friday from noon to 3pm, excluding public holidays. The current lunch menu includes Penne al Gorgonzola, Spaghetti alla Sorrentina in tomato sauce with mozzarella, and Pizza Piccante with olives and spicy salami. The lunchtime Saltimbocca comes with a fresh salad.
Getting there and booking a table
