L’Osteria Brühl occupies the ground floor of Höfe am Brühl, facing Richard-Wagner-Platz. Leipzig’s second branch opened on 30 May 2025 during the Turnfest gymnastics festival. The restaurant has 191 indoor seats and another 122 on its terrace.
Pizza being made by the entrance
Pizzas are baked just behind the counter near the entrance, where you can watch the pizza makers at work. A pizza can be ordered with different toppings on its two halves, and leftovers can be packed to take home. Dips are available for the crusts.
Wood and warm red tones
The pizzas measure 45 centimetres across, and pasta is available to take away too. Wood, natural stone and brass details combine with warm red tones and floral accents. Large windows bring daylight into the restaurant. Antipasti can start the meal, with Italian desserts to finish.
Italian photographs in the dining room
Three large black-and-white photographs from Italy combine decoration with sound absorption. These acoustic pictures were made specifically for this restaurant.
An IceFighters season-ticket discount

Open on Sundays too
The restaurant opens Monday to Thursday from 11.30am to 11pm and Friday and Saturday from 11.30am to midnight. Sundays run from noon to 11pm. Tables can be reserved online, and the branch can be reached by telephone on 0341 30859746.
