L’Osteria Leipzig Martin-Luther-Ring

Leipzig’s first L’Osteria is at Martin-Luther-Ring 12, near Johannapark. It has served pizza and pasta here since 2014. Following a refurbishment closure that began in March 2026, the restaurant celebrated its return from 12 to 14 June with new furnishings and a redesigned terrace.
Pizza with different toppings on each half
The pizzas measure 45 centimetres across and can be ordered with different toppings on the two halves. Pasta choices include Panzerotti Spinaci and Penne Salsiccia, alongside seasonal pasta dishes. All dishes are also available to take away.
A planted terrace beside the ring road
The large outdoor area was relaunched with planting and new furniture. An Aperol tree was among the distinctive features introduced that June. Tables stand beneath a canopy, with tall potted plants separating the seating area from the street. The restaurant has accessible entry.
Visiting with children or a dog
High chairs, a drawing table and baby-changing facilities are provided for children. Dogs are welcome and have a drinking station. Tables can be reserved online, and the restaurant can be contacted directly on 0341 35566590.
An IceFighters season-ticket benefit
For the 2026/2027 season, the KSW IceFighters Leipzig All-Inclusive season ticket includes a restaurant benefit: ten per cent off food and drinks consumed by the ticket holder. This partner benefit is not included with the Basic season ticket.
An opening in support of Bärenherz
At the opening celebration on 3 July 2014, guests were asked to donate to the Bärenherz children’s hospice. Klaus Rader and Friedemann Findeis rounded the collection up to €2,000; later donations brought the total to €2,200.
