L’Osteria at Tacheles brings pizza and pasta to a neighbourhood where restaurants and photography meet. Its ground-floor restaurant at Friedrichstraße 111 is part of the development around the former Kunsthaus Tacheles, with galleries, cafés and the Fotografiska photography museum nearby. The pizzeria also has a planted terrace with a fountain.
Dining at Tacheles
The branch opened in 2024. Pizza Caprese uses sliced mozzarella, cherry tomatoes and basil.
Among the starters, Vitello Tonnato combines veal with tuna sauce, rocket and capers. Caprese Burrata pairs the filled fresh cheese with cherry tomatoes and basil. Bruschetta with fresh tomatoes, garlic and basil is identified as vegan. Pizza Pane is topped with tomatoes, garlic and rosemary.
Parking and a late meal
Drivers can use the public Park One Tacheles underground car park at Oranienburger Straße 65 in the quarter. It has 400 spaces and allows entry and exit around the clock. The height limit is 2.10 metres, and payment is by card only. Six charging stations are available for electric cars. A lift is available.
For a late meal after the museum, the restaurant stays open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays; from Monday to Thursday, the restaurant closes at 11pm. All dishes are available to take away. On Sundays, opening hours are noon to 11pm.
