LA PIZZERIA Berlin
Standard Serious Pizza Charlottenburg
Pizzeria in Berlin
Near Savignyplatz, Standard West occupies Schlüterstraße 63. An upholstered wall bench with small tables and high counter seating create distinct places to sit within its long dining room. The brick walls give the dining room its industrial character.
Carbonara on pizza, Panzanella to share
The Charlottenburg menu turns Carbonara into a pizza with Parmesan cream, fior di latte, guanciale, pecorino and pasteurised egg yolk. Guanciale is cured pork jowl, while pecorino is made from sheep’s milk. Plant-based Vegana Verde uses courgette cream, grilled vegetables, olives and semi-dried tomatoes.
Panzanella is listed for sharing: the Tuscan bread salad contains olives, cucumber, tomatoes, onions, basil, lemon and white vinegar. For dessert, the branch’s delivery menu lists classic tiramisu with mascarpone, coffee and eggs; the restaurant menu adds a pistachio version. Sweet calzone can combine hazelnut-cocoa cream with ricotta.
An aperitif and the terrace
Naked Bellini is an alcohol-free drink made with peach purée, lime, ginger ale and soda. Naked Ginger combines ginger syrup and bitter lemon. The Schlüterstraße delivery menu also lists two Gut Oggau wines: Theodora, made from Grüner Veltliner and Welschriesling, and Atanasius, from Blaufränkisch and Zweigelt.
For private events, Standard lists 30 to 100 guests and a large sunny terrace at this branch. Personal music choices and bookings by the hour are possible through the events enquiry. Ordinary tables can be reserved using the Charlottenburg location link.
