L’Osteria Berlin Uber Platz

This is a large restaurant, seating around 200 guests inside and approximately 160 more across its two terraces. Families have access to highchairs, a drawing table and a changing facility. Dogs are welcome too.

The open kitchen serves thin, crisp pizzas from a stone oven. Tables in front of the kitchen counter offer a view of the preparation area.

Restaurant history

In 2018, L’Osteria celebrated its hundredth restaurant opening here on what was then Mercedes Platz. An unusual feature in the dining room is the old Ape: its load bed serves as a service station, with crockery ready for use.

Open into the evening

The restaurant stays open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, and until 11pm on other days. All dishes, including starters and desserts, are also available to take away.

Reaching Uber Platz

You can reach Uber Platz from Warschauer Straße S-Bahn and U-Bahn station or from Ostbahnhof. Cyclists can approach via Mühlenstraße; the route from Warschauer Brücke involves steps. Bicycle parking is available in front of the arena and along Hedwig-Wachenheim-Straße.

The paid underground car park, Parkhaus Plaza, also has its entrance on Mildred-Harnack-Straße. Its maximum entry height is two metres.
