According to the operator, L’Osteria at Bikini Berlin is closed from 14 September until 1 December 2026. The shopping centre gives renovation work as the reason. The restaurant occupies the ground floor at Budapester Straße 38–50.
The restaurant inside Bikinihaus
The regular menu includes antipasti for two to share, pasta with tomato sauce and homemade tiramisu.
Miriam and Silvio Beiler opened the restaurant as franchise partners in February 2014.
Children and shared pizzas
Regular family facilities include high chairs, a changing table and a drawing table, alongside smaller portions for children.
The regular pizzas measure 45 centimetres across and can have different toppings on each half. The restaurant also has a terrace. A water station is provided for dogs, and all dishes are normally available to take away.
Bikinihaus and views into the zoo
The Bikinihaus stands opposite the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtniskirche and belongs to the Zentrum am Zoo ensemble, completed in 1957. The complex also includes the Zoo Palast cinema. The shopping centre’s publicly accessible rooftop terrace overlooks the neighbouring Berlin Zoo.
Getting to Bikinihaus
S-Bahn routes S3, S5, S7 and S9 and U-Bahn lines U2 and U9 stop at Zoologischer Garten station for Bikinihaus. Buses 100 and 200 stop beside the building at Breitscheidplatz or Budapester Straße. Drivers can enter the paid car park from Budapester Straße 38, where four electric vehicle charging spaces are also available.
