LA PIZZERIA Oberhausen
L’Osteria Oberhausen
Pizzeria in Oberhausen
L’Osteria at Brammenring 117 stands in Oberhausen’s Neue Mitte, among the Centro shopping centre, cinema and theatre. Its purpose-built restaurant opened in October 2015. Pizzas measure 45 centimetres across, and visitors arriving by car can use the restaurant’s own car park free of charge.
A separate building with a covered terrace
The building was designed by SODA, an architectural practice in Bochum. Its distinctive exterior combines red and pale masonry with tall windows and red awnings. Terrace tables sit beneath a dark canopy along one side, framed by planting and glazed elements.
A dragon’s cave beside the terrace
Beside the terrace stands the Drachenhöhle, or dragon’s cave: a roofed playhouse with climbing rungs and a slide.
Colouring at the table
Round colouring sheets and coloured pencils are provided at the table. The sheets feature pictures to colour in and small mazes.
By bus to Brammenring
For a visit without a car, use the Elektrostahlwerk bus stop. Routes 957 and 961 connect it with Neue Mitte. The final stretch from the stop is on foot to the restaurant, beside the B&B Hotel at Brammenring 119.
Dogs welcome, takeaway available
Dogs are welcome and have a water station. All dishes, including children’s portions, are available to take away. In September 2026, the restaurant opens at 11.30 am Monday through Saturday and noon on Sunday. Closing time is midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, and 11 pm on the remaining days.
