Wiesbaden’s L’Osteria stands on Drei-Lilien-Platz, with its address at Bärenstraße 3. It opened on 29 October 2019. The launch brought Arthur Käser back to a company he had worked for extensively, this time as a business partner running his own branch.
An opening led by a familiar face
Käser began behind the bar at L’Osteria in Regensburg while studying. He later managed a restaurant and took on senior responsibilities within the company. For the Wiesbaden opening, he assembled a team of 35 employees. His return followed roughly four years away from the brand.
In the former Hotel Bären
The restaurant occupies the ground floor of the former Hotel Bären. Small round tables line the broad windows, facing a long bar with high stools. Pizzas measure around 45 centimetres and can have different toppings on each half.
Outside the windows, the restaurant continues onto a terrace directly beside the building. Striped parasols and large planters divide the outdoor seating. Indoors, upholstered chairs and a bench complement the places at the bar. Exposed copper-coloured ducts run overhead.
Lunchtime opening and family facilities
The restaurant opens at noon every day. It closes at 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays and at 10pm on the remaining days. High chairs and a drawing table are provided for children. All dishes can also be ordered to take away.
