LA PIZZERIA Dresden
Pizzastube Hechtviertel
Pizzeria in Dresden
Pizzastube at Hechtstraße 12 is a small self-service pizza shop beside Dresden’s Bischofsplatz S-Bahn station. Eat here or telephone ahead to collect your order; the shop does not run its own delivery service. Many pizzas can be made vegan, with a star on the menu identifying those options.
In the neighbourhood since 2014
Pizzastube opened in mid-June 2014, before the neighbouring railway station was completed. The local opening report already described pizzas made with a plant-based cheese alternative. Today, the restaurant names Fleischerei During in the Neustadt as its supplier of sausage products.
Apricot, cauliflower and grilled peppers
Pizza Gorgonzola pairs the cheese with apricot over tomato sauce. Holland comes with cauliflower and hollandaise sauce, and is available vegan. Knobi adds onions, garlic and grilled peppers. To try two combinations on one pizza, choose the 50/50 option with two toppings of your choice.
Smoked salmon or a filled calzone
Alaska combines smoked salmon with crème fraîche, tomato sauce and cheese. The calzone contains salami, ham, mushrooms, cheese and tomato sauce. The vegan BBQ version uses sucuk instead of salami, with onions and fresh peppers alongside barbecue sauce.
Stay for a meal or collect
There is a sofa inside and seating outdoors. The street-facing frontage is teal and cream, with a large window. Opening time is noon on Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and 5 pm on the remaining days.
