LA PIZZERIA Wiesbaden
Pizzeria De Paola
Pizzeria in Wiesbaden
De Paola has been baking stone-oven pizza at Nerostraße 39 since 2016. The pizzeria is in central Wiesbaden near the Hessische Staatskanzlei; the Kurhaus is also just a few minutes’ walk away. All dishes are available to take away.
Cold toppings and a white pizza
Teggiano starts with pizza bread and tomato sauce, finished with fresh cold tomatoes, rocket and buffalo mozzarella. Bianca omits the tomato sauce and combines Parma ham, radicchio and Gorgonzola. Sicilia has a punchier topping of spicy salami, anchovies, capers and olives.
Filled pasta and children’s portions
Panzerotti are filled with ricotta and spinach and served with butter and sage. The spicy Ravioli Neri comes with salmon, wine and garlic. Children can choose Pizza Alba with one topping or Pasta Luana, a small portion of a pasta dish. Homemade tiramisu is available for dessert.
Seating by the window
Tall wooden tables with bar stools occupy the front window area beside the glazed entrance. Standard dining tables sit farther inside, with orange walls giving the compact room its distinctive colour.
On weekdays, De Paola opens at 11am, making lunch possible as well as an evening meal. Saturday is its closing day; Sunday service begins at 5pm. For arrival by bus, the restaurant names Rödergasse, Webergasse and Adlerstraße as the nearby stops. Guests are also welcome to stop for an espresso without a full meal.
