At Heumarkt 52, 60 seconds to napoli pairs Neapolitan pizza with a large outdoor terrace. The branch opened in April 2024. Its operator lists 120 indoor seats and another 80 outside, and presents wine alongside pizza as a central part of this Cologne restaurant’s concept.
Tables in front of tall windows
The 500-square-metre restaurant premises previously housed a Bavarian beer-hall concept. Tall windows open the pale façade towards the terrace, where tables stand directly beside the paved street.
The Heumarkt delivery menu includes The Beast with Black Angus beef bresaola, tomato sauce, fior di latte, cherry tomatoes and Parmigiano Reggiano. Arnie combines Styrian mountain cheese with fior di latte, baby spinach, garlic and pepper.
Pasta served in a pizza bowl
Cheese Roll combines provolone, Styrian mountain cheese and truffle mayonnaise as a starter. Focaccia comes with three dips; aioli, basil pesto and spicy ’nduja mayonnaise are also listed separately. Trufflepasta in a Pizzabowl serves bucatini with white truffle cream, black truffle, Parmesan and basil inside a pizza bowl. For dessert, the homemade tiramisu is explicitly described as alcohol-free.
The restaurant opens every day from noon until midnight. Its website offers table reservations and orders for pizza to collect. Heumarkt is served by Stadtbahn lines 1, 5, 7 and 9. Line 5 connects the square directly with Dom/Hbf, the stop for Cologne’s cathedral and main railway station, via the intervening stop at Rathaus.
