At Da Pazzi, the homemade repertoire stretches from ravioli to limoncello and caramel vodka. The restaurant opened on 30 June 2022 in Potsdam’s Berliner Vorstadt. Italian dishes and a changing evening menu shape the cooking at Berliner Straße 116.
Window seats and a long upholstered bench
Inside, a dark upholstered bench follows the windows and turns the corner, facing individual chairs across wooden tables. Blue wall sections and an illuminated sign add colour.
Focaccia and calamarata
Focaccia Golosa is a white pizza topped with mozzarella, Gorgonzola and San Daniele ham. Napoletana instead features tomato, anchovies, capers and garlic. Bufala combines buffalo mozzarella, cherry tomatoes and basil.
Starters include vitello tonnato, pairing loin of veal with tuna sauce and capers, and bruschetta made with rustic country bread, tomatoes and onions. Calamarata Allo Scoglio brings together pasta, scampi, shellfish and small calamari. Fusilli comes with Gorgonzola sauce and walnuts, while lasagne combines beef ragù and béchamel. Desserts include panna cotta with the sauce of the day and homemade chocolate cake served with vanilla ice cream.
Handmade food and evening dining
The kitchen uses products from Italy and Brandenburg and makes its own pizza and pasta. Wines come from different parts of Italy. Da Pazzi opens at 4pm from Tuesday to Friday and at noon on weekends; Monday is its closing day.
