LA PIZZERIA Hamburg
L’Osteria Hamburg Bleichenbrücke
Pizzeria in Hamburg
L’Osteria’s terrace at Bleichenbrücke 9 is directly beside Bleichenfleet. The restaurant belongs to Bleichenhof in the Stadthöfe quarter, between Neuer Wall and Große Bleichen. Its waterside setting makes it an option for a meal while exploring central Hamburg.
At the entrance to the Stadthöfe
Dirk Block opened this branch in August 2020 as his fourth Hamburg L’Osteria. The operator’s announcement described it as an entrance to the newly redesigned Stadthöfe. The branch also provides free Wi-Fi for guests.
Within the 195-square-metre interior, curved seating niches with upholstered benches divide the tables into smaller groups. Weichenberger designed the interior for the 2020 opening. Alongside these table areas, guests can sit at the illuminated bar beneath the words Amore per sempre.
Smaller portions and something sweet
For children, the branch offers every pasta dish in a small portion. Pizzas measure around 45 centimetres across and can be shared with different toppings on each half. All dishes are also available to take away. From the restaurant, guests can watch boats passing along the canal.
Desserts range from panna cotta with strawberry sauce to chocolate soufflé with mango and passion fruit sorbet. Piccolo Dolce is the smaller sweet option, with a choice of tiramisu, strawberry mascarpone cream or panna cotta. Ice cream options also include Bacio nougat with hazelnuts and yoghurt with Amarena cherries.
