At Pizza Bande in St. Pauli, you can build your own pizza or choose one of the changing specials. The restaurant on Lincolnstraße 10, near the Reeperbahn, has around 40 seats. An open kitchen behind the counter lets you watch your meal being prepared.
From sesame sauce to homemade seitan
The starting point is a pizza with tomato sauce, mozzarella and olive oil. Vegan versions use either a cheese alternative or sesame sauce. Toppings range from capers and artichokes to salsiccia and goat's cheese. Homemade marinated seitan gyros is a distinctive option, and a vegan tuna alternative is available too.
The specials offer combinations already put together by the kitchen. When checked in September 2026, the website featured a vegan chilli-sin-carne pizza with kidney beans and a coconut curry version. These examples give a sense of the kitchen's more experimental side; the homepage carries the current combinations rather than a fixed, permanent specials list.
Walk in or take your pizza home
Pizza Bande does not take table bookings, so dining here means arriving without a reservation. All dishes are also available to take away. You can request collection by phone, while the website directs delivery customers to Wolt. That gives you a choice between eating beside the open kitchen and having pizza at home.
The drinks list includes Ratsherren pilsner and pale ale, Italian wines and alcohol-free beer. Pascucci coffee is available with soya milk if you would like something after your meal. The plant-based choices therefore continue beyond the pizza toppings.
