LA PIZZERIA Hamburg
L’Osteria Hamburg Fischmarkt
Pizzeria in Hamburg
At Große Elbstraße 49, L’Osteria serves pizza and pasta with views of the Elbe. The branch near the Fischmarkt has an open kitchen and a summer terrace with olive trees. It faces Holzhafen, with cargo vessels and cruise ships passing along the river. The view extends to the ships’ turning area.
At Holzhafen since 2017
L’Osteria moved into the former Lutter & Wegner premises in 2017. The opening report recorded approximately 168 indoor seats and a further 48 on the terrace after the conversion. Dirk Block spent just over three months converting the premises. This was his third Hamburg L’Osteria, following Dammtorstraße and Winterhuder Marktplatz.
Gnocchi with prawns
Gnocchi Gamberetti are served with prawns in sugo Aurora, with brandy, garlic and parsley among the sauce ingredients.
Share pizza or choose a salad
The branch description says its large, thin pizza can have different toppings on each half and be shared between two people. In September 2026, the changing monthly menu included a pizza with roasted pumpkin, apple, mascarpone sauce and baby spinach.
The salad menu lists Insalata Avocado Gamberetti with prawns, avocado, cherry tomatoes, cucumber and radishes. Insalata Manzo takes a different approach, combining beef fillet strips with mango and an orange and ginger dressing.
Getting there with company
According to the operator, Königstraße S-Bahn station is a few minutes’ walk away. Dogs are welcome, and the branch specifically mentions a dog water station. All dishes, including children’s portions, are available to take away.
