LA PIZZERIA Köln
L’Osteria Köln Deutz
Pizzeria in Köln
Pizza with a view of Cologne Cathedral is part of the appeal of L’Osteria in Deutz. The restaurant is at Hans-Imhoff-Straße 4 in MesseCity, between Köln Messe/Deutz station and the exhibition grounds. Its terrace has long shared tables and smaller groups of tables beneath parasols and an awning.
An open kitchen in Saint-Lazare
L’Osteria occupies around 640 square metres in the Saint-Lazare building. The surrounding quarter includes the Messebalkon, whose broad outdoor staircase connects the station to the exhibition centre’s southern entrance. The station is served by regional trains, S-Bahn services and long-distance trains.
Inside, you can see into the open kitchen, where the thin pizzas measure 45 centimetres across. You can request two differently topped halves on one pizza. The branch lists both Aperol Spritz and alcohol-free Crodino as aperitifs.
Green seating booths in a modern quarter
Inside, curved green upholstered benches form small booths around round tables. A long high table with stools and further tables beside the tall windows provide additional seating areas. Large illustrations of Italy add splashes of colour.
The Deutz branch opened in 2020 under franchise partner Kent Hahne. Designed by KSP Engel, the Saint-Lazare building takes its name from the railway station in Paris.
After a day at the exhibition centre
The operator lists closing time as midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, and 11 pm on other days. Table enquiries can be made through the branch page or by calling 0221 99994616.
