LA PIZZERIA Berlin
MOSAIKO
Pizzeria in Berlin
MOSAIKO pizza di napoli is a pizza bar at Bänschstraße 91 in Berlin-Friedrichshain. An evening here can bring together Neapolitan pizza and an Italian aperitivo.
This address was previously home to Futura. Meet its successor here.
A dough recipe travels
The restaurant traces its pizza story to the Di Napoli family in Naples. Pasqualino, known as Lino, took the family dough recipe to Paris, New York and Miami before it reached Berlin. The dough rests for 48 hours; pizzas measure 32 centimetres across and bake at 430 degrees.
The signature Pizza Mosaiko combines Fior di Latte with baked potatoes, ricotta, dried tomatoes, Parmesan and rosemary. If you prefer tomato sauce, try the Siciliana with anchovies, black olives, capers and oregano. Cannoli filled with ricotta cream offer a sweet finish.
Start with an aperitivo
Italian aperitivo is part of the concept: meeting before dinner, having a drink and making time to talk. It makes the pizza bar an option for an evening that starts before the food arrives. A separate drinks menu accompanies the food selection; on the German website, follow “Trinken” and then “Barmenü” to open it.
