From St. Pauli to the pizza box
Tazzi opened its first St. Pauli restaurant in October 2018. Its kitchen approach includes freshly prepared dough each day, shaping every pizza by hand and making its own tomato sauce. The local ordering menu for Kleine Freiheit lists pizzas measuring approximately 32 centimetres across.
Maple syrup, aubergine and ’nduja
Melanziege combines fior di latte, scamorza, aubergine and goat’s cheese with maple syrup and walnuts. Hot Antonio features spicy ’nduja, black olives and red onions on a base of fior di latte.
Hot Antonio can also be ordered in a vegan version with plant-based cheese and spicy vegan ’nduja. Smaller pizzas measuring 16 centimetres are listed for children, including Salami and Funghi. Starters include stracciatella with pizza bread; pizza with pistachio cream is offered for dessert.
